Words of Wisdom
I really hope someone is reading this, because there are a few things I want to say to you. There are people in this world that will do whatever they can to put you down, don't let them! If someone makes a rude statement about them, ignore them. I know it can be hard, trust me, I do, but you have to learn to control your temper.

I have a dream, some people say that being disabled is easy, if that is really what you think, no offense, but you're nuts! I have been in a wheel chair all of my life, I am blessed beyond measure because I have the support of a wonderful family, and I live in a beautiful home, with staff that treat me very well. It is hard for me to believe that I have been in a wheelchair for almost 26 years. I gotta tell you though, my biggest dream is to one day be able to get out of this wheelchair, and walk without a walker, without assistance period. I know this might seem an unrealistic goal, but you know what? I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. If you believe that, then you have nothing to fear! For those of you reading this that are disabled, please know that God has never and I mean NEVER left you, and he never will! I know that at times it can be very frustrating when you are wheelchair bound, and you see your friends and family able to walk, you might think God, why did you create me this way? I hate you God! If that statement comes out of your mouth, STOP IT! God does not want your resentment to destroy your life, he made you a certain way so that you can minister to others. Trust me, I know first hand how frustrating it can be, but you cannot feel sorry for yourself because that will not do you any good alright? If you go around harboring resentment toward the one that created you, then you are only hurting yourself, no one else. My dream is that one day, we as disabled individuals will learn to put our trust in God, so that when people do make derogatory comments toward us, instead of responding a negative way, we just close our eyes and pray for them! If we as a disabled community, would learn to bow our heads when we hear negative comments being made this world would be a lot better place! Who knows? Maybe in the process we can win some souls for Christ. Just think about it, and let me know what you guys think OK?
